Meet our 2021 Judges
Tor Sorenson
Tor currently resides in Otterville, Missouri and is the General Manager of the Southern Arizona International Livestock Association. He has owned and showed llamas and sheep on a national level. He showed his first sheep at the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, KY in 1990 and has not missed a year since! Additionally, he has the distinct honor of being the breeder, fitter, and showman of two National Supreme Champion Ewes! Tor has judged from coast to coast and we're excited to have him with us. |
Cruz Nichols
Cruz and Sarah Nichols, along with daughter Harper, own and operate Nichols Sheep Farm in Jerseyville, IL where they raise Polled Dorsets, Oxfords and club lambs. In 2019, he also became the co-owner of Ringside Sheep Magazine. Aside from raising sheep, Cruz farms with his in-laws raising corn, soybeans, and Shorthorn cattle. Cruz enjoys judging and working with juniors when given the opportunity and has been able to judge numerous shows within the last few years. |
Mark Johnson
Mark and Amy Johnson own and operate A&M Ranch, located in Sandwich, IL. A&M Ranch is a Southdown flock that was established in 1979, and has produced numerous National Champions. Mark is a Livestock and Equine Sales Specialist for Purina Animal Nutrition. He works with customers and dealers in the Northern IL/Southern WI geography. He also serves as National Ambassador for Honor Show Feeds. In that capacity, he provides technical information to the nutritionists and educational programming for the sales staff and customers. Mark has judged breeding sheep and market lamb shows for over 25 years and in more than 20 states. Mark is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Joliet Junior College. |
